I'm thankful for Marris because every time he sits down to write about hockey, my readership goes up by about 5. Who follows hockey, really!? What is it, the 8th most popular sport in America? I mean I watched it during the winter Olympics but that was because the only other sport shown was curling. I mean you might as well be talking about hugging on ice, cuz that's all a hockey fight really is, maybe a punch or 2 gets thrown but, most of them are no better than what you'd see in a elementary school playground.
I'm also I don't have to watch those damn Yankees. Or for that matter those other New York teams. It's gotta rough not getting to watch your teams play... well... other than the Bills... not watching might be best with them. And I mean, who wants to watch those teams up there. Syracuse football is bowl eligible for the first time in a decade or so, and the Mets and the Bills are just bad. The Yanks are the sole "good" team out of New York, but we all know they buy their players. That being said, Marris picked AGAINST his yankees in the first round of the playoffs, they won, then he picked them to win.... and they lost. Atleast I stick by my team...
All that being said, I am truly thankful for Marris. Not only is he a great guy, and a great friend. Though his choice in teams may not be the best, he knows alot about sports and adds a lot to the blog.
