Another call that went the way of the home team was near the end of the game with the Nuggets down 2 again the ball was knocked loose after a missed Denver shot and bounced near the baseline. The referee signaled out of bounds to Golden State but after replay it showed it never touched the baseline and instead of a tie game, Denver grabbed the loose ball and scored as the referee blew the whistle, it was still a two point lead for the Warriors. Granted 7 missed free throws didn’t help especially in a game decided by four points. Also, Denver didn’t help themselves by chucking up three point attempts with 12+ minutes left in the game and only an 11 point deficit. They still had a chance with 7 seconds to go and down by four but they took almost all of that time to get one shot off, a missed 30 ft attempt. For a league leading scoring team, they looked very sluggish at times in the series against Golden State. Maybe next year, Nuggets.
“I will admit that in the 30 years that I have watched the Cubs, there have been some bad teams, these guys just plain out suck”Shawn Camp ERA of 7.15 (ESPN)
