I was still thinking about the game, which started at 8:00PM. I decided to text my dad and see if it was on television. I don’t have cable in my new apartment so if the game was on I thought I would walk to a local bar and watch some of the match. He texted back that he would check and shortly after he said it was not on television but asked what I was doing and if I was alone that night. I responded accordingly and got ready for my shower. The next thing I knew it he texted me back and said to get ready quickly we were heading to the game – his treat. I couldn’t resist – so I jumped in the shower, got dressed and ran downstairs. Two minutes later he pulled up and headed down College. We were on our way to the Chelsea – Inter soccer, or should I say Futbol, game. It was already 7:05PM and we had to make it from 116th street all the way down to south of Meridian and Market street. We hustled and got parked at 7:50…we were cutting it close and still had a mile or so to run to the stadium.
