Sports is a huge part of my life and there is nothing better than having friends to attend games with and talk about sports. I am honored to write with two of my best friends, have an awesome brother, a great dad and a future wife to share the enjoyment of sports with as I grew older. This past weekend my plan was to propose in front of Victory Field, where the Triple A baseball team the Indianapolis Indians play. Kathryn and I have been partial season ticket holders going on three years and baseball is a huge part of our lives. We have enjoyed going to games, sitting in the sun, talking, cheering, taunting and walking around the ballpark. We have gone to many a games just us, with family, with friends and even made some friends at the ballpark.
The engagement didn't go as planned but we reminisced about all of our sport outings as a couple. (I asked her in front of a pretty church instead, she said yes). Sports have been a big part of our relationship and will continue to be as we grow old together. I look forward to enjoying a future with great friends, great sports and an amazing wife! I am looking forward to sharing her wisdom on the blog for many years to come. In the meantime enjoy some of these funny marriage and fun baseball quotes...you know that baseball and marriage are going to go together quite well!
